Witmark & Sons Music Publisher Demos: 1962-63

The historical importance of the Witmark Demos cannot be overstated. They belong in every serious collection. They were performed in the publisher's New York office (and a few in CBS studio NY) only to document a recorded version of each song for publishing and demonstration. Mainly recorded during July 1962 and early 1963, there were also a few recorded in 1964. The quality is great. This set represents the known office recordings. Great looking sepia toned cover. The tracks are put into the random order as listed by Michael Krogsgaard. It's long been the practice to name a Dylan boot release by using an obscure song title or line from a song. This title comes from a line in Eternal Circle.
