ENGLISH:
High Quality 180 gram Vinyl reissue repro of the UK original pressing
The Artwoods, named after Ron Wood´s late elder brother, band leader Arthur Wood were another great London R&B 60s band whose work has passed into relative obscurity. This album is difficult to find but worth the search. The instrumental tracks are great and there is a lot on this record that reminds me of Alan Price at his peak. Check out, for example, "Walk on the Wild Side" which features a very young Jon Lord on organ. It is a mixture of British R&B, Jazz & cLub Soul. It was their only album and if only for that reason, it should not be missed.
